Exelix LLC Established

August 1, 2003 -- Exelix, L.L.C. has been formed as a Virginia Limited Liability Company, Kevin Sullivan President and Chief Executive Officer.  The initial objective of the company is to develop and market a commercial version of the Galileo^TM software tool for dynamic fault tree analysis of complex systems.  Galileo^TM was originally developed for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration by the University of Virginia in the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering under the directorships of Professors Kevin Sullivan (software design and engineering) and Joanne Bechta Dugan (dynamic fault tree analysis).  Exelix plans to announce a commercial version of the Galileo^TM software in the near-term future.
